Appraisal System gets praise indeed! |

After several months of work, Pyramid have just completed an innovative new staff appraisal system for Exel PLCs Human Resources Team. Aimed at helping staff across a number of sites improve their individual abilities and job skills, the process also assists in identifying opportunities for personal development and plotting potential career paths within the organisation.
The system is based upon a set of core competencies, each relating to a collection of skills and personal attributes, identified as key to the success of Exels frontline teams.
Pyramid has been involved in developing and rationalising the system from its early stages and stretched Exels Corporate Identity to achieve an easily accessible visual recognition system for each element of the competency set. It is intended that this will help to quickly create understanding amongst the companys workforce in addition to supporting rapid identification and resolution of individual and team shortfalls.
The visual recognition system formed the foundation of the project and subsequently Pyramid has been responsible for developing and producing the associated training and delivery system which is now being rolled out at a number of the companys sites.
The work has resulted in high praise from Susie Robinson, Exels Human Resources Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa, with a view to extending the process across more of the company's UK sites. |
