Over the last few days things have been a little quiet around the Pyramid offices. The tunes from everyone’s Christmas iPods can still be heard loud and clear, the phones still ring on a regular basis, a rhythmic tapping of keys and clicking of mice is ever present, but something is definitely missing.
Although it took us some time to discover the source, the lack of a funky clothed geezer with a shock of red hair and probably the only peach coloured car in Midlands finally gave the game away! The surprise disappearance of our creative director shortly after celebrating a significant birthday has thrown the entire creative industry (well, everyone at Pyramid) into confusion! How will we ever find out what colour lines should be, the secret tips of communicating with printers and what to wear next season? Was it something we said or is he trying to rediscover his youth?
Fortunately the antics of Coventry’s fashion guru haven’t escaped the camera’s lens. Everyone now knows he’s enjoying the holiday of a lifetime in Canada, a stunning surprise birthday present from his wife and family.
I hope that everyone who knows Paul will want to wish Pyramid’s very own Peter Pan a very Happy Significant Birthday! But Paul, please come back soon, metallic ink sales are at an all time low! |
